The Victoria Point Sharks Football Club was formed in October 2014, with the global aim of bringing community football back to the Redlands.
Competing in the QAFA (A) competition, the clubs inaugural season of 2015 netted a finals appearance and saw over 100 players playing Seniors or Reserves with the club, many of whom had previous connections with the Redland Football Club or Redland Sharks Junior Australian Football Club.
In 2017, the club played in the restructured QAFA Division 3 competition, with an increase in numbers of local footballers donned the Sharks jumper, a replica of the successful 1980s Redland Sharks Football Club.
The club subsequently won the premiership in both seniors and reserve grade and in 2018 the club was promoted to QAFA Division 2.
Training is each Tuesday (Top Oval) and Thursday (Bottom Oval) night from 6pm.
