Best Entertainment in the Redlands is at the Sharks
Victoria Point Sharks Sporting Club has been the entertainment hub of the Redlands for many years.
Every Friday and Saturday night plus Sunday afternoon you can unwind and enjoy music from a wide range of musicians. We like to support young locals, the new up and comings, but also have our favourites who have entertained us often over the years. They may sing a few old favourites mixed in with current music and mix it up – but they all perform the songs we love to hear, and maybe get up and dance to.
Each month we add something a little special to the mix, so check our website and facebook page to see what events are coming up.
Over the years we have had many Australian greats – bands like The Angels, Skyhooks, The Radiators, Mental as Anything, Spy vs Spy, the Black Sorrows, Screaming Jets and Stylus. Many soloists have played here as well – Shannon Noll, James Blundell, Ian Moss, Brian Cadd, Russell Morris, Christine Anu, Wendy Matthews, Jon Stevens, Jenny Morris, Darryl Braithewaite, Jon English, Damien Leith and many more.
Tribute shows at the Sharks are popular as well and we’ve had lots including Little Steely Brothers, Chisel Revived, Inexcess, Countdown Reloaded, We Want More, Livin on a Prayer, Made in the 80’s, Women of Rock.
We also love duos, trios and bands like SoulCutz, Musique, The Red Men, ADUO, Still Got It, Old Skool Jericho Duo, The Anchormen – so you will see them here during the year.
We like to add some Live Band Karaoke, Comedy Nights and Trivia nights onto our calendar each year as well, so that we have something for everyone.
Regular activities at the Sharks
As well as music, we have Bingo sessions three mornings each week, Trivia every Wednesday night and Poker on Monday, Tuesday and Sunday to keep you entertained.
