The Sharks Club is the hub of the local community, with its extensive sporting programs, regular entertainment and special events.  With some 6,000 members, the Club is a popular sporting and social venue in the Redlands.

The Victoria Point Sharks Sporting Club was founded as the Victoria Point Australian Football Club in 1966 by Mr Ern Dowling. The original clubhouse, built in 1973, was destroyed by a storm in 1984.  Its replacement formed the base for the clubhouse as it now stands.

After many additions and renovations the clubhouse today boasts four bars, a TAB, a modern, fully-licensed bistro, and a gaming room with 116 state-of-art gaming machines.
