The Sharks clubhouse has gone from humble beginnings on the Ern Dowling Oval to a multi-million dollar modern facility on the upper oval and has become a fun and relaxing venue for the whole family.
Our facilities include:
Bistro - The Clubs fully licensed Bistro has an extensive menu and features local fish and produce. We like a bit of change so the menu is revised regularly. Children are especially welcome and our Kids Menu is well priced. There are daily lunch specials at $9.95 for members or $10.95 for non-members. Try our Members 2 for 1 meals on Monday and Tuesday nights, or $15* Adult and $5* Kids meal specials on Wednesday to Sunday nights (*members prices). Our a la carte menu is also available Wednesday to Sunday night and lunch 7 days.
Coffee Shop - Visit our coffee shop and relax with a hot cuppa or try one of the delicious cakes.
Function Room - Our modern Function Room is the perfect place to hold your next special occasion. The room can be divided into two smaller rooms, so is perfect either for small intimate gatherings, or for parties of up to 200 people seated and 400 cocktail style. Wedding ceremonies can be held in the garden terrace with its stunning water feature, which is directly outside the Function Room. For smaller corporate meetings our Board Room is also available to hire.
Supervised Kids Room - The Sharks has a fully supervised Members only Kids Room for children aged 3 - 12 to enjoy while you visit our Club.
Outdoor Playground - We have an outdoor playground for children to enjoy. This is especially popular while parents are outside watching the footy or cricket on the oval.
Bars - The Sharks has four bars, including the KE Costello Sports Bar, the Main Lounge Bar, the Sharkys Bar in the Gaming Room, and the Functions Bar.
Gaming Room - We have 116 gaming machines which feature the latest in technology in our modern gaming room. Keno facilities are also available.
TAB - Extensive TAB facilities are located in the KE Costello Sports Bar.
Bottle Shop - Members are offered regular specials and promotions in our bottle shop.
Sporting Grounds - Sharks Club brings together the local sporting community hosting eight local sporting groups. Whether your kids are cricket crazy or you like a quiet bit of fishing, Sharks Club will accommodate. The Club has two fullsized cricket/AFL lit ovals, 2 sets of cricket nets and a 19 element fitness track.
Parking - Parking is rarely a problem with plenty of off-street parking. The car park is well lit and includes disabled parking close to the front entrance. |
