AWARD WINNING CLUB

The Sharks take pride in contributing to the community and it forms an important aspect of the operation of the club.  In 2005 the Sharks were announced as "Best Community Service by a Small Club" winners at the Clubs Queensland Annual Awards.   Much of the success of winning this award was attributed to the fact that the Sharks were the highest fundraiser in the "Clubs Smile for a Child Campaign" in 2004, along with much needed assistance given to sporting groups, schools and other local organisations.
